Essential Oils DIY Recipes

In this DIY Class we will be making:

  • All Natural Lip Balm with Lavender & Peppermint Essential Oil
  • Balance Shower Melts for an Aromatherapy Shower Experience
  • Stress Rescue Inhaler

Please find below the list of ingredients and supplies needed for each DIY project along with the video recording of the live DIY class. Please watch the introductory part but if you need to come back and review instructions for a particular item, I’ve noted below the starting point in the video.

Stress Rescue Inhaler

  • inhaler tube with wick and cap
  • 1 tsp. FCO (fractionated coconut oil)
  • 4 drops Cypress Essential Oil (Cypress helps us release pent up emotions, promotes flow of energy, opening the heart to letting go but at the same time comforting)
  • 4 drops of Wild Orange Essential Oil (Wild Orange is stress releasing, energizing, uplifting moods and spirits, and promotes positivity)

Video instructions start at 15:15 minutes (see video below).

Balance Shower Melts

Balance Essential Oil contains Spruce Leaf, Ho Wood Leaf, Frankincense Resin, Blue Tansy Flower, Blue Chamomile Flower, and Osmanthus Flower essential oils in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil. Balance has a warm, woody aroma creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Spruce, one of the oils in Balance, was used by Native Americans for health and spiritual reasons and is still used today to bring harmony to the mind and body.

  • 6 Tbsp baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp distilled water
  • 8 drops Balance Essential Oil
  • glass or ceramic bowl for mixing
  • craft stick for blending
  • mold to create shower melts (let air dry in mold for 24 hours – remove carefully)
  • air tight container (store in air tight container)

Video instructions start at 24:40  minutes (see video below).
